Alex's 1st Beach Trip

Chris was gone for almost 2 weeks and then I to Santa Cruz… so when we finally saw each other, we took off for the weekend to visit his grandparents in Port Hueneme / Oxnard. His aunt came for dinner and some other friends came by Sunday. Family is great… We also wanted to take Alex to the beach for the first time… Ummm.. He didn’t really like it.. He wasn’t sure about having sand all over his feet and inside of his toes.
Here is Chris with Alex and then me with Alex.
He was okay until we put his feet in the water… He really didn’t like that. It was too cold.
All was better after he calmed down a bit.. Libby had fun playing with other beach dogs. She’s such a social butterfly.
When we returned to the house, Libby was tired and ready for a nap.

Hey, How are you? I haven’t seen you since Christmas! I was emailing Jo and asked her how Alex was and she advised me to check out your website for some of his photos. He is absolutely adorable! Allie and Roxie barK a hello to Libby!
